Ringo is Pat's absolute hero and so Gregg Bisonette and I asked Ringo if Pat could sit in on Help From My Friends, which we close the show with. Ringo was very cool and said, teasing, "Does he have his own sticks?" He got to hang out with us backstage before the show and had a very nice visit with Ringo. Pat was thrilled to play his favorite drummer's kit with us on his favorite band's song. Pat to me, "Ringo is the reason I play drums". I'm happy he got to do this.

We were doing a 'Haka' which is the pre-game ritual rugby teams in NZ and Australia do to intimidate each other. The crowd loved it. It was really funny seeing a bunch of old rock musicians doing this very macho thing that I think only happens down here.
