All-Starr, round 2!

It's official and finally we can announce, Richard will be returning to the Ringo Starr All-Starr Band this summer!  Besides Richard, again on bass, vocals and singing his Mister hits "Kyrie" and "Broken Wings", the line up includes Steve Lukather (Toto), Gregg Rolie (Journey, Santana), and fellow All-Starr alums Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera and Gregg Bissonette!  Check out the official announcement on Ringo's site.

Richard will be playing with Ringo tonight on Late Night With Conan O'Brien promoting Ringo's new album "Ringo 2010."  Be sure to check it out!

Richard KLOS Interview

Richard played at the annual Christmas blowout for legendary LA DJ's Mark & Brian of KLOS last week with an incredible all-star line up including Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Kevin Cronin, Gregg Bissonette and many others. A great time was had by all. Here's an interview KLOS did backstage.

Be sure to check out the new photography book "Volume 1: Through the Lens of Music Photographer Rob Shanahan" by brillian photographer -- and good friend of Richard's -- Rob Shanahan.  Its an amazing collection and features a forward by Ringo Starr.  You've seen many of Rob's photos of Richard on his recent albums and on this site as well, but Rob has also photographed more rock stars than pretty much anybody.  From Ringo to Paul McCartney, the Stones...you name it.  (The book also includes an awesome pic of Richard!)
