forum > "One Woman" - Last recording all 4 members played on?
always loved that tune...would be great to know the story...would've loved a MR MR version...I know that it's a Page/George/Lang/Loggins penned song!

Rik, I'm looking at the LP's inner sleeve and the composer credit is "Kenny Loggins, Richard Page, John Lang".
Richard produced it as well.
I believe it was specifically written for Kenny's album and was the last new composition recorded by the band. "Back To Avalon" was released around August of 1988, as far as I can tell.

They also all appeared on the track "Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away" from Richard's "Shelter Me" (1996)...

One Woman and One More Chance by Air Supply...always wanted to hear the Misters do their versions of those songs..One Woman would've been a great track on Go On...

Some of these wonderful songs - I have some of Richard's demos and I just love them even in this "raw state" - were probably given away because they didn't totally fit into the Mr. Mister albums. I can see "One Woman" being done by the group but not so much "One More Chance".
To Jason: Did guitar Steve play on "Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away" too? I couldn't find any specific line up info online.
**** Congratulations to Richard on making the All Starr line up again (tour starts June 14th). Obviously, Ringo likes you a lot. ****

Yep Guido..Steve Farris does play guitar on "Heaven Is 10 Zillion Light Years Away"...YES...congrats on Rich making the line-up again..I've got 2 shows in my state to attend!

Lucky you, Rik--I'm hoping to be able to travel to CA for the San Diego show. I'd give a lot for a show in the Southwest, TX, NM, or AZ----oh, well.......CA here I come!

I noticed that every member of Mr. Mister plays on this track that ended up being given to Kenny Loggins for his "Back To Avalon" LP. As this was released later than "Go On", I'm wondering if this was the final recording of the original line up or if anyone has additional information. Thanks.
